Our fast-growing team in the heart of London’s “Tech City”
Although the geographical relocation was less than a mile, our short hop means that we are now firmly situated in the hub of technology based start-ups in London.
The Shoreditch area has been on the rise over the past couple of years — it’s seen as a particularly young, up and coming area with an abundance of creative media and technology based companies. Named after Silicon Valley, the expansion of “Silicon Roundabout” (Old Street Roundabout) precipitated the growth of this vibrant area.
There are now six of us in this new office, including Head of Legal, Pieta Das Gupta, our User Experience Designer, Mark Russell and Head of Marketing, Sarah Beresford.
Located on a cobbled side-street, sandwiched between bars and other start-up office buildings, 81 Rivington Street is home to a variety of companies ranging from digital businesses to PR companies and the ever growing shoe brand TOMS.
We hope this move will afford us the opportunity to create some profitable business relations as well as provide us with a solid base to expand the Rocket Lawyer brand throughout England, Wales and eventually Europe. (Having said that, the deciding factor just might have been the roof-top garden with an enviable panoramic view of London !)
